While this looks interesting I don't see "wireless charging" to be a big deal. On my phone whether I have a wire plugged directly into my phone or a charger that my phone sits on it's still plugged in. :rolleyes: With EV's I guess if all public chargers were like this it would be nice. You wouldn't have to get out and plug in if it's raining out or too hot out like it is here today.

"BMW said the wireless charger's efficiency rate is a high 85 percent"

Does this mean you loose 15% of the current by using the two coils to transfer the power? If efficiency is the key to the EV's, is this a good thing?
