Bob, you were correct. Tyme did tell...
More than expected.Hon talked me out of slow cooking the dogs and better to do them on the grill...She's right.....Plus I don't want to be condemned to a Prius forum and don't drive a Camaro that you can't see out of.......Altho, I gotta have mustard and ketchup on my dogs!!! When my old man was around he liked his dogs cooked on the grill til they were almost black.....well done to say the least.................

Georgia Hots are another passion of mine.I slice them down the middle then cut them in half,so you get 4 pcs out of one hot...In the oven at 350 for about 20 mins and you're done. Top with mustard, kraut( with carroseed added and a little beer) Vadalia onion on a Portuguese roll and enjoy!!.....I tried cooking them whole on the grill, but they didn't cook evenly enough....Outside quicker than inside

What a Cup race at Kentucky tonite!!!!With10 laps to go it appeared Joey Logano was cruising to a win.But a caution came out with 6 to go.By the tyme a restart was ready overtyme was needed. At the restart, the Busch brothers pounced on Logano , who fell back because he didn't know which one to block. The final 2 laps were a door bangin but clean race between Kyle and Kurt with Kurt taking the win by a car length at the end. What a finish!!

That was a hell of a good race. Man, I dunno, but I think the racing in general this year in Cup has been very good. Nascar seems to be on the right track, finally, they've even been floating hints that some serious schedule/track changes might happen when the current deal expires, there's been public acknowledgement that the fans would like more short tracks and road courses. Let's just hope the Gen7 car isn't a disaster.....

That's the best news I've read all week.

Just a question about tire size diameters. What's the advantage of a bigger tire...handling? Back in my 442 days, most cars came with 14" tires...an upgrade on the Camaro Z28 got you 15"er's. Now a days cars like my Boss have 19" tires, with some Camaro's sporting 20" tires...Is gas mileage involved in this? I know the tire manufacturers are having a ball as in more $$$$$

Bigger wheel diameter means lower profile sidewall for the same diameter of tire. Less sidewall flex and movement makes for a more stable tire and better handling. There's probably other reasons, but that's the one that makes the most sense to me from a performance point of view.

Although in some cases (F1 springs to mind) they have been using the sidewall flex inherent in the tire on a smaller diameter wheel as part of the suspension design. It's going to mean a fairly large change in suspension thinking for Nascar guys for sure.

Sorta pretty clean. Hamlin's bump on the 2nd last lap could have been a lot worse. Cool that Harvick saw Hamlin coming down on him in the last corner so he went up and blunted the attack with his right door panel and avoided damage to the important bits. About the 30 second mark in this video:

Surprised that Nascar didn't ding Hamlin for the slip of the tongue in the post race interview, that used to cost a driver $5K. Good race though. There's been a lot of good races this year. IMHO.

Likely the only folks who did not like the end of the race work on the 22 Logano team. Joey had the race won.....except for the whole yellow checker flag thing.
I am glad Nascar has said nothing about the end of the race as well as the post race comments from Hamlin. A stronger bump and run and Hamlin wins.

I'm going to be about 30 minutes from San Antonio for a couple weeks in August with some time to kill. Anyone in that area or know of anything car/Mustang stuff happening? Send me a message if you're interested in setting something up.
