No arguments, gentlemen, just a suggestion to tell those friends that autocross about the event and give them the bonus that the Roundup also includes an autocross. On the plus side one has to acknowledge that doing an autocross occasionally will help with the mental process and focus to hit your lines when on a track. Autocrossers like Randy Pobst, Tom O'Gorman, Jeff Altenburg, Peter Cunningham, etc. to name a few , went on from running Solo Competition to becoming renowned and winning sports car racers. Being on track the first time , with our group, could convert many an Autocrosser over to track time , or they might include it in their racing schedule, so consider this just a suggestion of some folks to invite.

I went and checked out a AX this past Saturday. Lots of time spent for 7 min of driving total. I'm probably going to do one next year and let my son also drive. So we'll get a total of 14 min total driving time which is twice as good!

So, that means attendance at the Mustang Roundup ensures you will be able to hang out with:
1. VoodooBoos
2. Todd Soderquist - Formerly the Managing Engineer for Ford Motorsports
3. The Rocky Mountain High Brighton Boss Guru - Tymeslayer
4. The man with the Uplifted Distilled Spirits - TMS

You will also be able to see :
1. Ford GT
2. Tons of GT 350s, Bosses, Mustang GTs, a Boss 429, a Boss 351 and the Bacardi Bus!
3. A GT 500 - 90% chance
4. Hopefully we will get a tour of Terry Klatt's unreal car collection which is on site.
5. Fellow competitors from 14-17 States from around the Country - that includes two crazy friends of mine from Connecticut/Rhode Island!!!!

......and , thanks to all the track addicts , over the years, Pump and Pantry Convenience Store ( about a 1/2 mile away) now has racing fuel.

So if you want to run around 93 octane you can fill up with 91 and then add a bit of 100 Octane at their pump, or if you have a Boss 302S or R ( or another racing Mustang) ,you don't have to drag any fuel with you , it is all just a skip and a jump down the highway!

Staying in Kearney (Hampton) again because I can't get enough driving. (And because I can use my Hilton points). Planning on dropping off the trailer on Thursday and parking in the same spot as last year.

Well, darn, Tyme, I thought you promised folks you would hang out with us more this year, and I am sure we can find you a cheap motel, tent, or mattress under the garage shed?

Being the unofficial pace car driver keeps me busy.

I will will swap out my PS4S on the APEX EC-7 19x11 wheels for my newer RE71R on APEX SM-10 19x11 wheels. Looking forward to trying them out for the first tyme on the track.

Here we go again , drivers, as Tyme is trying reverse psychology to make you think he is slow. Remember last year when he said he would sedately bring up the rear of the pack and then he nicked off some quite quick times, well..................................
Now he has what are considered by many to be the hot ticket for 200 Treadwear tires , so I will predict he will knock down some even better times in 2019. Remember, like any sport, smacktalk is allowed and encouraged to intimidate your competition, and with a slew of Mustang Maniacs it can get maddening, ha.

But, if you want to come and hammer down on the Slayer , get signed up for more track time than you normally get anywhere, an autocross, meals and, of course, some serious partying!
