Great, I can see it now... me stuck drinking Coors Light while being forced to listen to Pemberton's rendition of Hans and Franz. Sure he'll pump you up, he'll have you change his tires for you! :p

Your Vodka is in my shop. Bill.......He's your problem. (Who Loves ya Baby)

Hoping this year I am not fixing something when I should be drinking free beer and eating free pizza.

BTW. Thanks again for the help last year.

Quick tire info, as have been getting some calls on this as there appears to be a bit of confusion.

If you run Hoosier R or A7s , BFG gforce R1Ss, NT01s, Goodyear Supercar F1 3R, Toyo R888rs, Toyo RR1s, Hankook Ventus V214s, etc., you will be in a Modified Class even if the car is considered stock. Simple rule to remember, a car must have a 200 Treadwear rating to be in a stock class. Sure there are some extensive mods that would not allow it in a stock class , but we are understandable about small changes and tires are often the key mover to a different class. Keep in mind that used World Challenge Pirellis, Continental slicks ( new or used ), are considered to be in the same realm as the BFG gforce or Hoosier R7s , hence they do not move you to the Race Class. Now , if you have a race car, tires make no difference and in fact you could be on snow tires, but you are still relegated to the Racing Class.

Now some of you have figured out a trick , as many are aware that some of the 200 Treadwear tires are equal to, or even faster than some of the older generation track tires, so if you are running RE71s or BFG Rival 1.5 S rubber , you are still in the stock class -- unless you have a bunch of other mods as noted before.

My number is available if you have questions, but leave me a message or text me if I do not answer, as I am getting tons of calls about my delinquent school loans and at 67 I need to get them handled ,ha,ha.

Lastly -- a GT350 or GT 350R that came with Pilot Sport Cup 2s will be in the modified GT 350 Class , not stock , even if the tire came with the car. Why, you ask, well simple, the tire is a 180 TW rated donut ,hence it is in modified. The older GT 350s with the Pilot Sports or one that has been changed over to say a RE71 would stay in the stock class.

This event is just over two weeks out. It's been pretty hot here so I'm hoping for nice weather that's not in the 90's or 100's!

They are talking about a cool down here in the Midwest. It is going to be in the 70s most of this week, for instance.

Dang, I better get my G-Locs mounted and I only have a little time to get that Summer air out of my tires and replace it with Fall air!

Ha, ha, now Rob I expect you to show up and be in the Car Show, at least , with that beauty of a Grabber Blue Boss! Heck, get a Hotel room and stay over for the Banquet ,as there will be some fun stuff at the Auction.

Remind some of your friends that the Car Show is trophied also , and it is a fun time with the Ford Engineers, the Tech talk , the Bacardi Bus, the opening of the Klatt Museum, etc. , even if they don't want to do the Autocross and the Time Trials. We sometimes do not talk enough about the fact that there are quite a few Car Show Aficionados that come and hang out this weekend so they can talk Stang , hear the scoop from the Ford Engineers , and party with the rest of the Blue Oval Gang!!
