SVE 19"Drifts seem to fit the S550 Calipers?

I received my S550 PP brake calipers today, and curiosity got to me. And even though I was told the SVE 19" drifts do not fit on the S197, I mocked them up there. I ordered new wheels to fit these cause everyone said they will not fit the Drifts, and now I don't want to get ahead of myself cause I haven't received the 15" rotors (the 14" are on there for the spacing, and I don't have pads, or the pad clips in either, but I don't feel those would cause a clearance issue. But they seem to fit fine? Am I missing something on why these were not supposed to fit (probably something that will make me feel retarded)? Not the best pics, but I spun them, and they even clear the wheel weights as well with lots of room????

I think LMR/SVE are very conservative on their fitment guarantees. They also state that the 18x10 drifts don't fit over the Boss 302 Brembos but as many of us know they do.
The only thing I can think of that would change the fitment in your case is if the 15" rotors have a different profile or width where they mount to the hub, but I have no experience with the 15" rotors so I can't confirm.
Looks like you might be in the clear pending the rotors. How is your strut clearance?

In the V6L
If the calipers are actually bolted in place and the wheels clear with the smaller rotors then your wheels will clear with the big ones too. All rotor hubs are 8mm thick at the mounting flange - it seems to be an industry standard - so it doesn't matter which rotors you put on, if the wheels fit with one set, they'll fit with any set.

I just read on here, not LMR's site. Not that I am out to prove someone wrong, I am just stating that I would say they do in fact fit. I had already bought a set of 19x11 GT7 wheels for all 4 corners for these brakes, but will run the tires off the Drifts till I get 305's for the wheels. But anyways I tossed the 15" rotors in, and still have plenty of fitment. Caliper to barrel (including wheel weights) is a hair over 7mm, and caliper to spoke clearance is right at 7mm. I didn't precisely measure the wheel/tire to strut clearance, but it was around a inch of clearance. Took some pics. kinda hard to tell the clearance, but ya.

With the GT7's.....LOTS of clearance.
