Pretty sure the track Auction will not affect much of anything , as George Anderson already has a bunch of weekends ( in 2020) already booked. As noted , I think this is happening primarily because there are so many owners and some would like to move on ( some due to age , some due to no longer living in the State , and even some due to a death ) and this is a way to start with a new slate. Since things are booked and most years have been , this appears more of a case of reduction of owners and then you have a more singular focus. I know there are quite a few positive things that will continue easily, and in some cases this may rejuvenate some other ideas for the track that have been placed on the back burner. See you next year, Arizona!!

Take it from the newest member of the FART club (Ford Alfalfa Race Team) - it's worth the journey. Thanks to everyone involved in putting this all together. I plan on returning for my third round in 2020.

New member maybe , Old Fart, definitely !!

Of course I can't talk much as one can see my Decal Designation denoting my honor in the Club right there on the driver front quarter panel, ha.

Guess that makes Willie Da P and Tymeslayer just a couple of old Farts , farting around a race course? Frankly , my friend , running with you was a Gas!

Not only did I lose a brake duct clamp on the track but left one of my brake duct fascia plates in the alfalfa. George and crew did a great job keeping the track clear and finding the metal clamp which I sheepishly claimed. I can imagine the damage this could of done to someone's slicks. It's comforting knowing that they do all they can to keep us safe out there. A side note of the Road Warrior paint protection film. It did a great job, came off with ease and best of all when I peeled it off all of those nasty Nebraska bugs came with it!

Yet through all his little issues, the Slayer kept smiling and I am glad to admit him to the Royal Ground Table ------ hay, you are now an official member and we won't allow you to bale on us!

Remember the Royal Salute is just a little toot! Yes, and our motto is, " You can always find Art in the membership of F.A.R.T.!

Bill was a great host as always. I'm finding bugs inside the car as well. 'suppose that's what I get for importing grass.

Turns out my broken electric trailer hitch was due to a blown 20 AMP fuse in the F-150. Headed home in the dark at 5 AM but at least the brake lights and directionals worked on the hauler.
Replaced the lost brake duct fascia plate quite easily.
Rolled the car off the trailer at home to find a flat in the right rear and fixed that.
Lost the wiring to the right side cutouts and will either remove them completely or scrounge around for a used one.
The right side mirror also loosened and will need some work as well.

Someone at the Hasting track told me that I'd be picking out alfalfa from the car for years and although I thought I got most of it out from the inside, I found more a few hours later. Who knows how much more there's still under the car. I hope George doesn't see this because he may sent me a bill for a few bales.

I'm looking on the bright side though, I did come home with a FART sticker and six bottles of Lifted Spirit.

And to steal a line from Will Rodgers, "I never met a TMOer I didn't like".

You forgot Reggie. He secured first place Road Course in Modified Street before his clutch went out. Unfortunately he didn't get to run in Autocross.

My bad , as Reggie is a talent and lives only about 1 mile from me. He has been fast for a long time and I have told him with more practice he could beat us all. Thanks for correcting an old man's memory, and I congratulated him more than once, so pretty bad I forgot to mention him when I posted!

Don't believe so as I offered him my clutch from the BossS and he wants to get a new and hopefully stronger one than he currently has. With only a NASA race at Topeka ( JD Krull and I will be there ) at the end of the month, I think the fix for his Comp Orange Beast is in Santa Claus's hands?
