Its been a bit since the last update. Been fighting some small issues with leaks, and that is a big pet peeve of mine. So much so that I ended up tearing out the transmission, clutch, and driveline to solve a rear main seal leak. I managed to get the first set of LX side splitters from Carters Customs and they really complete the side/aero profile of the car.

Car is back together and on all 4's. Aluminum flywheel, king cobra clutch, high torque mini starter, aluminum driveshaft, and MGW shifter installed. Still sorting out some stuff with the brakes, but got it out to Sonoma for the Shelby Mini-Nats. Feels so much better with the MGW.

Car is currently at Griggs Racing to finish the Watts Link, through the floor sub frames, torque arm, and some other items. I will update when she comes back home.

Things have been a little busy to say the least.

The Foxbody is at Griggs Racing for the completion of the suspension install. Also got the new Carter’s Customs side skirts on.

Picked up a Raptor that I built a set of Signature wheels for. This truck is a friggin BLAST!

The GT350R is about to get a set of lowering springs, GT4 style hood vent from Carters Customs, and a new set of our Signature Wheel Royal Series SV801.

The first cut is the hardest. Been sitting on this Carters Customs GT4 style hood vent for a while. Lots of stress and worry before and during this process. Now that it’s done I can breathe.

Appreciate all the folks that reached out with pics and words of encouragement like Adam Forestwood, Wes Heath, and Adam Carter. Even more appreciative of my bro Robert Gluckman that was a dick, but motivated me to get it done.

Also got the new Signature Wheel Royal Series SV801 on. 20x11 / 20x11.5 came in at 23/24 lbs.

Car has metal flakes everywhere. I rattle canned the vent black until I figure out how I want to powder coat it. First wash with the pressure washer left minimal water under the hood. One of the guys on The Gram is a genius and just lays a towel under the hood vent when he washes. Freaking genius.

Looks hard AF!

You've got balls to be cutting up that hood, especially when the GT500 hood is right around the corner. I look forward to seeing the new wheels, on your GT350 and Raptor!

Nice looking Ride.

You should have listened to Frank Zappa. When you go where the Huskies go.......

I saw a tricked out Ranger on the way to the airport this morning in Bangkok. It looked like a 80% scale Raptor with an overdone graphics package. Did not get a picture

2020 GT500 brakes are massive.

Swap is going well with minimal issues encountered. Learned a few things I didn’t know. Happy that brake caliper clearance issues will be solved for the GT500 guys, and the Caliperfexion studs are reusable.

Still need to swap the other side, swap lines, and bleed the brakes

Dream car acquired! Finally brought home a 2015 Porsche GT3. I’ve been a Ford guy forever but I always wanted a Porsche ever since the first Bad Boys movie. I can see why Ford benchmarked the new GT500 against these.
.
I kind of feel like I shouldn’t have it. I got tapped to help grow our Porsche connection at Signature Wheel and the cost of the car was extremely favorable from a friend. Otherwise it wouldn’t of happened. Looks damn good on our Precision Series SV705.
.
This is one hell of a car and I appreciate it a little more every time I drive it. 23 gallon extended tank and gets 20+ MPG. The car feels extremely nimble, solid, well engineered. Hoping to do some cool on track comparisons with my GT500 since both cars are PDK/DCT. There are some areas where I like the GT500 DCT more, recognizing a 5-year development gap of course. I still think I prefer the GT350R to all of them in terms of a drivers car.
.
Any recommendations on places to connect with the Porsche gents let me know. Drop a pic of yours if you have one!

Been missing the GT350R lately. Had to throw it in storage for a while as I sorted out other projects. Brought it home to finalize a few things before bringing it back out with its new look. Hope for some fun track days this year.
.
Been tweaking the suspension with the DSC Sport Controller which has been fun. I swapped in the 16.5" 2020 GT500 brakes a while back but did not want the weight penalty. Sooooooooo I changed the front to the Racing Brake Carbon Ceramic 2020 GT500 front 16.5" rotors and street compound pads.
.
Currently sitting on our Signature Wheel Royal Series SV801 in Brushed Bronze Tinted. This is a maximum fitment with a 20x11.5 square, 315/30/20 Michelin 4S at all four corners, and DEEP concave.
.
The 2021 iteration should be quite impressive with a few goodies from Archetype Racing
