Summer is nice where ever you are.Unfortunately,Fall is starting to creep in here to New England as I type...altho we may get a reprieve this weekend with temps near 80................hallelujah!!

Throw my vote in for later too. The later in the spring the better chance I’ll have my new ride and would strongly consider getting it out there from California.

Chin has confirmed April 18-19, which I'm considering....

Thanks BlackBoss , and what was the price quoted in April ? Sounds great for many , though that date could impact some starting their racing Seasons in NASA or SCCA.

Chin don't publish pricing until the event opens for registration, typically 8 weeks ahead of time.

Last year's event was $999. Not atypical, COTA is $$$

Yes, that was 2 days. Chin also charges a $50 annual membership.

I did see a MVP february 3 days event in COTA. they recently pubblish it

Option B for me is April.

I would wait another month before committing. Cause i need to check my 2020 time trials activities.

For norcal people. (And not only)
I did find a driver who can bring the car there and back for 1100$ from the bay area. He does have another spot available. (The trailer is for 2). This is the driver I found with a cool broker. If we pass directly trhough him we can say 30% broker fee.
I used him for 11hrs drive for chuckwalla and he was really precise.
He has a friend in kentucky (i think) who can tow 3 cars.
Other wise I can give you the name of the broker I used.

The April dates work for me. Still not sure if I bring my car or just hang out. I have a vintage MX race starting on April 24th so I'll be back in time.

If there is enough interest in the April Chin dates, I can approach them to see if they would consider a TMO discount.

It may be a matter of logistics. Hattiesburg to Austin, straight shot is about 9 hours. Through Steward Il. its 29 hours. I'll have to work on this.

Best thing I've done recently.
Arrive thursday at 2pm. Got the car at 3pm.
Sent it back sunday morming at 9am
I went for a tour with family. Took the flight back amd car arrived 2 min after i went home. No stress.
Yes cost more (?) 29hrs driving is a lot of gas and hotels and stress.
The broker was very good.

Yes and no. I have a car in the south. Shipping one from the north is hard to justify. If I can swap them over the winter, we may have something.
