Welcome to the TMO site and since your GT 350 is essentially a Modvirgin, you will find plenty of upgrades ( and opinions, hehe) suggested on this Forum. Solid group of Forum Sponsors and many deal primarily with the Stang, or devote a large portion of their expertise to the machine. Tell us a little bit about your 1995 Red Terror and we will look forward to you joining the brotherhood!

My avatar is a 1965 Mustang vintage race car. it has raced around 80 races on the east coast. The rules permit period correct modifications and bias belted race tires.

My GT350 is Magnetic Metallic (dark gray). I ordered it with no options. I am working on new wheels and tires and a few suspension mods. I am keeping it street legal with A/C.

Figured you had a 95 too, but the 60s Stang is my generation and that has to be a blast to run in Vintage. You can make some very minor modifications on the GT 350 and still be super fast at the track --- whether just in HPDEs or Time Trials. The car is killer out or the box and I only did camber plates, comp. alignment, some squared Apex rims, G-Loc pads and was running near the top. We do expect to see some more shots of the 65 on track in the future!

First, thanks for your help. I am trying to get pictures formated to add to this site. It doesn't like large pictures.

The red car raced for 18 years. It won a podium at most major tracks on the right coast (here at Sebring in the rain going into T-1).

I have a 1995 Cobra R (stock) and had a former 95R Motorola Cup car that was built by Snipes Racing. It was called the "Stars and Stripes" car. I had it in vintage since it became too old for IMSA (modern radial race tires allowed).

2) I know the basics of what I want to do on the GT350. The stock Michelin Pilot FN Cup 2 tires (basically racing tires) mask some handling that I need to address. It needs camber plates. What about camber on the rear?

Yes, some good track pads are needed. I don't want to lower it as it already scrapes my driveway.

3) The tire shops are closed around here so I can't get to them. They rent their shop to me on Sundays.

Hell yes, the GT350 is very fast. It is much faster than my old race cars when I had a cage, 6-point harness, pull cord fire system, racing fuel bladder, racing suit, and a Hans device.Seb2009z.jpgSnipes13a.jpgVoodoo3a.JPG
