Trac key voucher ID?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

I've got a small white tag from my keys with FCC ID, IC# and another number.
Track key install instructions I found online require the voucher ID xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. Idea where this is found?

You need to purchase the TracKey voucher to get the number and a dealer will have to install it.

Thanks. The dealer is getting the tune. He must have meant a key code associated with the actual key perhaps. He was aware that I need to purchase the code thru him. They've done it twice, but not for a year. Fingers crossed. Acton Ford here in Massachusetts.

You do not have to purchase it from your dealer. I got mine from Levittown Ford for $220. I asked my dealer if they would match that price and they refused so it was their loss. The dealer just needs an ID number to match with the VIN when logging onto the Ford Racing site to download the program.
Don't let your dealer tell you that it can only be bought and installed from them.

Acton Ford did the job. Did it well! Disks are out too. Anyone who has not tried to take out the disks should give it a try. An intoxicating sound. Engine braking sounds awesome. Didn't get the car until late and kids were then priority with dinner, etc. will try track key for the first time tomorrow. I may be late to work!

Good to know, I've been looking for a place to get mine done. Was thinking about going to Imperial, but it's a bit of a drive. Gervais was my other choice, but I may go to Acton if they just did yours. How long did it take? I'll be waiting for mine.

They kept the car over night due to a snafu in their ordering the software. Not really their fault.

I had them do exhaust disks, inspection, oil/ filter, exhaust rattle and brake fluid reservoir cap leak Wednesday. Thursday they did the key and I don't think it took more than the 2 hours they billed. Not much there, but a strip mall directly across the street and a Wendy's a half mile the other direction. I live in acton so I just left it, got a ride home and prayed it went well. It did. Eric is the guy to talk to and he kept it in the garage overnight for safety. They also service ford GTs so in his words..." we keep the good cars like yours in safe locations". Good luck!
