    @the5 Turns out it is the GT4 piece, made by Sachs. I sourced mine through Capaldi. They did the prove out for GT350/FP350S although FP never ended up adopting it. Call Leo or Craig. You’ll need to install a stop for the clutch pedal to avoid over throwing the clutch.

    Duane, Yes. The crossovers just balance oil flow/pressure between cylinder heads... No P/N. They're copied from the FP350S.

    At a minimum I'm planning Pistons/Rings, Valves/Springs and Retainers and likely Main/Rod bearings. Anything further will depend on what we find. Fingers crossed....

    Car was down on power for last day at Sebring in December. Did a compression and leakdown test, #8 Cylinder is bad. Engine has done 60 hours. FP350S recommendation is rebuild at 40 hours. Rebuild time! Dropped to powertrain today: Removed Headers: And Transmission:

    AIM Solo DL - what data can it provide?

    I've used Harry's laptimer, AIM MXLII with Smartycam, AIM Solo with Smartycam and Racelogic VBox. They all have strengths/weaknesses, but in terms of ease of use and video analysis VBox wins, albeit at a price. My recommendation would be to talk to Peter Krause. He knows all these systems...

    @EIGHTLUG Don't know how far you are with design, but will PM some details on mods I made to the Verus Diffuser to improve mounting and Diff cooling capacity.

    My guess is track use will be the depth constraint, rather than approach angles. The strakes on my Verus diffuser are a wear item on track, and I have extremely stiff rear spring rates......

    Rick, Thanks to you and the moderators for making this the best Mustang forum for track rats. Period. As for the GT500, just go order one. The GT350 surprised a lot of import buyers at higher price points, the GT500 is going to demoralize them :). Just read (between the lines) in Randy’s review.

    The SPL tie rod bumpsteer will only fit base S550, not the 350 — different taper.
