Motorcraft 5w50 has a new sibling from Castrol...

This is good info. I’m a Mobil1 guy myself, but I don’t like to be “brand loyal”, as I believe it stifles innovation and breeds complacency. I’ll check this out, but it’s gonna be hard to beat NAPA’s annual sale on mobil1...

Someone educate me on the benefits of the FL820 over the FL500s

    OIl Filter

I use the Motorcraft FL-500S (what the dealer says is OEM...) with Mobil 1 5w50.

Really enjoying these pop up ads since TMO got sold :(

It’s fixed!! Thanks a lot, Luda!! No more pop ups every time I open a page! I appreciate the work.

Really enjoying these pop up ads since TMO got sold :(

Sarcasm, in case it’s not obvious. Not sure how the desktop site is working, but I mostly browse on mobile. It’s INFURIATING to have to close out an advertisement ribbon every time I open a new page. Cancer of the Internet.

    Where to measure oil temp????

Why we’re at it, what temps is everyone observing? Let us know the set-up you run and what your temps are.

    wheels and tires fitment guide

I should have been more clear. I wasn’t meaning that the wheel and tire would be overall larger; you are correct that they are the same overall diameter. I meant the wheel opening would be filled with more ‘wheel’ than tire, which most find more aesthetically pleasing. As far as your other...

    wheels and tires fitment guide

Why do these cars come staggered from Ford anyway? It seems the general consensus is square is better, yet we get staggered wheels and tires.

18" vs 19" Wheels, Which is Right For You?

Damn Norm, I’ve been googlin’ all this, and every time-on every message board-you have the best answer. You’re awesome.

18" vs 19" Wheels, Which is Right For You?

“ You could also run a 10”/11” stagger, however Mustangs prefer square setups for more balanced handling and less understeer.“ Can you elaborate on this a little more? Do we have data to back this up, or is it just a general consensus/feedback type of thing?

Forgeline releases new AL307 wheel design

The shop I work at is a dealer, so we get 40% off whatever retail is. That’s where I got my figures. Admittedly, if I had to pay retail, they would be out of reach.

Forgeline releases new AL307 wheel design

Well said, Hatter. Mine is a streetcar, with a small toe in track days or auto X, so I don’t really have the expense of a dedicated race setup. I guess it does come down to priorities and use.

Forgeline releases new AL307 wheel design

I think it’s hilarious that a bunch of people who destroy $40,000 numbered cars on a racetrack cringe at a $4k set of wheels hahaha!

Forgeline releases new AL307 wheel design

It’s definitely their most complicated machining I’ve seen so far. Probably a little overkill for a daily driver, but I’ll just buy a wheel brush. Clear coat finishes will be easy to clean.

Forgeline releases new AL307 wheel design

https://forgeline.com/wheel/al307-2 The new AL307 follows the newest monoblock design of the NW103, but with all the advantages of a three piece wheel.

Ford vs Ferrari Movie Release Date: November 15th!

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and thought it told the story pretty well. I think Matt Damon is a little too “nice” to play CS (not that CS was an Asshole, but he certainly wasn’t a nice guy) and Christian Bale was magnificent. The cars were spectacular, and if I have to pick: Making the Deuce...

Ford-UAW plan for Flat Rock plant

Actually, you can have panels installed that produce more electricity than you consume, which reduces your bill for consumer energy from month to month. The “bill” for the panels is the financing for the install, cost, and maintenance on account of them being so expensive. Eventually, however...
