A and B Pillar connections to RR Cage?

Lots of ways to skin this cat. When class rules and available space allows, I like to weld the bars directly to the chassis, then I add the gussets. The less span between the tube and the car the better. This is a very strong method and also gives you a nice clean tucked in cage. Just make sure...

    Captdistraction's ST2/GTR build thread

In my opinion, the tech threads are the best part of the site. I for one would love to see you continue to document your build.

    Electric water pump

Interesting that No2 is allowed but nirtomethane is not....hmmmm.

    Electric water pump

Biggest problem with it in oval track racing was the potential for fire in a crash...and oval track cars do a fair bit of that.

    Electric water pump

    I'm surprised it's legal....or is it?

    Electric water pump

NO2 is probably not the best fit but I'm sure somebody has gotten away with it somewhere. Yes, Shaun is a damn good source of reliable information.

    Electric water pump

Yes, that second one is what I got. Summit has them for a lot less. The other one looks interesting but I don't know how they manage the plumbing. I have not had a chance to try this out on a coyote, it worked perfectly on my 3 valve making a ton of hp so I expect it will be similar since heat...

What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

Yes, we have a small CNC here. Its getting to the point that guys who can still do manual machine work are hard to find. Guys call themselves machinists when they are really just parts changers.

What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

I was working in a machine shop when tape mills first came out. Remember those with the big ticker tape rolling through the machine? I never programmed one but I ran them long enough to discover that I liked fabrication a lot better than Machining and that it also paid a lot better-especially if...

What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

Being in the business of fixing/building stuff for some 40 odd years, plus a lifetime around racers of all different disciplines and skill levels I can tell you from experience, some people are their own worst enemies. My employees will tell you the most repeated phrase in my shop is; "Wait...

Fabman's build; How did we get here?

It wasn't a regular race day so it was mostly just fun and games. The power steering burned up so turning this thing was a real bear. Had I let it get out of shape there would be no way to save it so I ran well under the limit, but was good enough to be fastest of the weekend. Yes, I miss it...
