    The Dead Cow's GT350 Experience

I did the same you are doing 2 years ago, except in the mid-Atlantic we have an NA 1.6L only regional Miata class that keeps costs down and gets super high car counts. While I miss the Shelby some I love having and actually racing a racecar. Maybe in the future I’ll get another Shelby for...

    FS: Track Prepped 2017 GT350

Well, I think I’m getting more serious about going to a dedicated track car. Which means I’m considering selling the GT350. If you’re looking for an awesome dual purpose car with just about everything you need for the upcoming track season, this is your car... $57k for everything. PM me if...

    Brake Pads for GT350

You’ll probably be fine with the OEMs for the weekend, but would pretty much use them up. I run intermediate/advanced with TrackDaze and have 2 weekends on a set of ST43s at VIR (August and November events this past year)...they bite hard and are lasting forever. I think I’ll get 4 full...

    Spec Iron

I assume some folks in here have driven NASA Spec Iron Cars... as I get more track time in my GT350, I find myself wondering if I should just switch to a track-only car that’s safer with lower running costs. It looks like I could get into a very well built spec iron car for $25-30k. I know...

GT350 Rear Hub part # question

Wow that’s spectacularly bad! I went ahead and got a small press yesterday to remove the ARPs from the bad hub. Works like a charm! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

GT350 Rear Hub part # question

To close the loop. It was the wheel bearing. Dealer refused to warranty it because of the wheel studs, and charged me a not-cool $640 to replace, and wouldn’t even put the ARPs in the new hub. Pretty salty. I’m buying the tools to do it myself next time, and by next time I mean taking it...

GT350 Rear Hub part # question

Welp, the dealer believes the noise is emanating from the rear brakes and wanted me to pay out of pocket for new pads/rotors. Doesn’t sound like any brake noise I’ve heard and is independent of any brake activity. Pleaded my case - they are going to replace pads and rotors under warranty...

GT350 Rear Hub part # question

Thanks everyone. Going to the dealer Wednesday. The dealer feedback was if they deem the install of the ARP studs caused an issue it’s on me, otherwise it’s warranty work. Given the studs have been in since late May and have 9 track days and thousands of miles on them, and the issue just...

GT350 Rear Hub part # question

Thanks Kevin, I appreciate it. Given the cost, and that I’m not 100% it is the bearing versus a CV issue, I’m going to try the dealer route. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

GT350 Rear Hub part # question

So I think my driver’s side rear wheel bearing is going bad, since I’m getting “creaking” noises starting from a stop and audible while rolling at low speeds. Because I have ARP studs installed I don’t think my dealer is going to be easy to deal with and I’m just going to tackle this myself...
