Figuring out what you want is really the easy part. Figuring out how to pay for it is harder. But even that is not that hard. Especially for the smart guys out there. And guys, don’t worry Sal will never leave this.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Fabman, you’ll figure it out. You know you will never quit this so might as well not entertain the idea. I’ve been out for a while, but personally I won’t quit until I am either dead or riddled with dementia.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's bull. You can turn anything into anything. Your car just needs different brakes. Nothing else is wrong with it, I think. Hell, you can get a set of 14 inch Brembos for like $700 or go the S550 route.
I don't know what you guys think, but I may go the powerbrake route for brakes. AJ did a great hands on review and I really like their design and reasonable cost. I say reasonable because this is not a sport for the faint of heart when spending money.
It's only like $150 so i think i am going to replace mine with it. I have still been too lazy to take off and paint the one I have on there now. HDPE is not paintable, but comes in black and 8 million other colors.I have to say though, I am so glad I made the first one out of something clear...
I am going to go that route. I used High Density Acrylic and it is awesome. Strong, flexible, etc. Plus it was only $100 I can stand on it and drag it on curbs all day long, but it is rather heavy. Have not weighed it, but I am sure the aluminum will be a lot less.
The funny thing is I have every single part for the car but the coil overs and watts link are not coming until beginning of this week. I am not going to make next weekend, but will make the NASA event the next weekend a in Fontana. I love the track. Never done it in a car, but on a GSXR1000RR...
Yes. But on a white outline or white background would be even better. Just a thought. That's what I'm basically doing with my car. A lot of white and some red. Go well against the dark gray and black.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
