my name is lancerboss302. my boss is a 2012 CO #75. I just ran a 11.829 @115.5 MPH. I do not have any
engine mods. But I do have race star 15x8 rims with Hoosier 275 60r15 Drag Radials and also have
17x4.5 race star front rims or skinny's. I do use one power adder 101 race fuel , also have MGW shifter and
1pc aluminum drive shaft. I launch @ 4500 rpm and my tire psi is 17lbs. My 60ft was 1.74

That is great detailed info. Thanks for it. I've been thinking that it might be worthwhile to run high octane to let the computer learn to give it more timing. Other than that, I think the hot humid air in South Florida is keeping the power and mph down more than anything else on my car. I opted for the 19" D/R's because I like to keep the car looking stock. I doubt I'll ever get a 1:74 60 ft with them.

Nice numbers. Do you know what you gained from the drive shaft?

So the boss has a nice power/weight ratio, just needs to hook up.
Now, can you build the suspension to hook at the stip AND handle on the road course?

Did you adjust your shocks?

@keavdog I gained a tenth and half w/1pc drive shaft. Not worth the money. The best thing for the strip
is track key,15x8 racestar rims with 275 60 r 15 with Micky's or Hoosier and 101 race fuel. I will drop in 5
gallons with almost 1/2 a tank. Launch control works beautiful at the strip. Suspension I put the front at 3
and the rear at 1. I do get some wheel hop when I try to launch hard at over 4500 RPM.

How do you use launch control when you need to warm up tires, do you have enough time to set and turn it on after you heat tires up?
Because if like to set launch at 4k, but when I'm trying to warm tires up limiting rpms to 4k won't allow me to spin tires efficently

Great question. Pull into the water box. Put the trans in 2nd gear. Dump the clutch. The motor freaks out for a split second at 4000rpm (your current launch setting) then it'll bouce off the rev limiter. Traditionally, I would pull forward of the water to do the burnout. That method doesn't work well with the lauch control. Now I stage the bunout in the water. 2nd gear gets the tires spiining much faster than 1st gear. I keep the throttle on until I've nearly staged the 1st yellow light. Having said all that, my best 60 ft is only a 1.89 using launch control and 19" M/T drag radials. I watched a guy get a 1.8 60ft riding the clutch and not using launch control. I haven't given up on lauch control yet. But it might turn out that lauch control is designed to work best wth slicks.
