It's true what they say, our 18" EC-7s do clear the S550 calipers quite nicely :) Along with many other brake kits out there. Even our 19" lineup slides over the GT350 calipers with roughly double to clearance of the factory wheels:

Thanks for this! Nothing like browsing these forums for future mods and finding these detailed guides. I was still thinking about the 4 pistons because I wasn't sure on clearance.

I hate to be the one that brings this thread back yet again, but I have a few questions, and do not want to start another thread for them. I am looking at these calipers on Rock Auto, and they show "reman". Did you guys that ordered from Rock Auto get remans?

Question 2, I assume the blowfish racing brake duct kit will work for these brakes since it uses/replaces the backing plate correct?

Those are the correct caliper part numbers. It wasn't listed as a re-manufactured caliper when I bought mine and the price has dropped slightly. If I had to guess, the calipers were too new when I bought mine to have reman stock but have since changed status. That being said, I think you can completely trust a Ford reman personally.

The Blowfish cooling ducts will fit but they won't seal against the larger 15" rotor. They are designed to tuck inside the 14" rotors so there will be a 1/2" gap with the 15"s. I am using Vorshlag's gen 1 design that is essentially a modified OEM backing plate that covers the majority of the 15" rotor friction surface fairly tightly. I would recommend the new gen 2 design:

I would call them to confirm fitment before ordering though
