18x10 on front

I need to confirm if I can run 18x10 wheels on the front of a 2014 GT track pack car without any issues.
I have Koni yellows and roush 1.5 inch drop springs.
Below are the spacing and offset numbers.
Back Spacing: 7.2" (184mm) Offset: +45mm (1.8")
thanks

I don't know about your backspacing but I have run 18x10.5" up front with -2 degrees of camber with no issues. I did cut the end of the sway arm bolt off just for piece of mind.

I run AM's 18x10 F14s, which they advertise for the rear, up front. I believe their wheels are +43 offset.

The only difference between our setup is the lowering springs, which i dont think impacts the wheels, but may impact the tire sizes you can run.

According to AM, the F14s are: Back Spacing: 7.1" (181mm) Offset: +42mm (1.7"),
so not a lot of difference.
I like the F14 weight at 20lbs, a lot lighter than the ones I'm looking at (AMR Dark Stainless Wheel - 18x10 @ 26lbs each).

I run 18x10 Forgestar CF5's with 285/35 tires up front on my Boss with no spacers and no rubbing. I'm on FRPP "K" springs wifi here I think are a similar drop to yours. I do run about -2 degrees of camber but there's plenty of room.

My other concern is the gearing change with moving from a 255/40/19 to a 285/35/18. With 373's and a 6 speed, will I be pushing redline in 5th on the straights? I'm close already with the stock setup.

You'll need spacers to clear the strut tubes. +42 and +43 Fit no problem with stock type setups. +45 could clear at the rim, but any rim protector or tire flex under load will make some sort of contact.

On longer straits, yes. At Road America I am pushing the limiter in 5th anytime I get a decent run coming out of 14.

You could run a 275/40 which is about a half inch taller than the 285/35 and might help, but you're giving up some tire width as a trade off. A lot depends on the tracks you will typically run and how long the straights are.

What track are you running 150+ on?

I ran AM 10th Anniversary 18x10 square this summer. I have Koni Yellow struts and Steeda Sport springs. I did need a front spacer because they only cleared the Brembos by about a business card of gap, and got 1/4" MMC.

Tire size affects acceleration too. I go to Brainerd MN every July and I get close to 150 mph on the front straight. My fastest is 149.9 mph 285/35/18 tires. This year I ran 295/40/18 which are about 1/4" taller than stock, thinking the bigger diameter would give me more speed. Nope, my fastest speed was 149.2 mph. The 285/35 gave better acceleration, for a higher top speed while hitting the rev limiter. The 295/40 accelerated slower and felt more sluggish on corner exit (more tire weight and/or lower "gear ratio") and I never hit the rev limiter. Only one example, but a data point none the less.

Thanks for the insight guys. Looks like no bigger than a 43mm offset wheel in the front is the way to go. I'm working with a coyote engine with a lower rev limit than the roadrunner so I'll keep an eye on rpm at the end of the straight at Dominion, Summit Point, and NJMP and see if a shorter tire makes a difference.

I don't get it, 145 is only 5900 rpm for me and I've run both 275/35/18's and 295/35/18's with a 4:10 rear gear.
There must be a big difference in our 5th gear ratio? (Tremec 6 spd)

The Tremec has muuuch taller gearing than the MT82.
4.10s in the T56 magnum are roughly equivalent to 3.55s in the MT82 I believe, depending which gear set you choose on the T56.

The MT82 5th gear is 1to1 and the tremec's 5th ad 6th are over driven.
Thought 4th gear was always 1 to 1 and 5th and 6th were overdrives....?

18x10.5 Enkei PF01's also fit up front. I think they are a +43 and I've run 305 up front on these wheels with no problem. That's about as big as you go unless you have more negative camber. I usually run about -2 degrees.
