19x 9.5 max tire width

I was wondering what's the maximum size tire I could even squeeze on the factory rear wheels on my Boss 302.
Im looking for a street tire for drag racing, not a drag radials, just the widest street tires

Quick reading looks like 305, but depending on the tire the manufacturer they may recommend a wider rim.

well the local performance shop said they could not mount Nitto invo 305/35R/19 on my OEM rears. I've heard of plenty of people running this set-up but they said they had trouble inflating the tires???...

Possibly for safety reasons, Nitto's site states the Invo be put on a 10.5 - 11.5 inch rim.
