the first 2015 GT will be auctioned off at Barrett Jackson next month for charity, how much do you think it will sell for?

I don't see why it would sell for a ton, though I bet some rich SOB can claim it has a tax deduction since it goes towards charity.

Saw this on cars oops.com. Didn't post, but figured it would go for the "traditional" $500K. I was at the B-J show when the first ZR1 was auctioned for $1mil. Definitely an event, but it usually goes to someone looking for a big right off. Hopefully, they actually enjoy the car.

I posted about this over on S550 on the 20th. My guess is $750,000.

Having gone to B-J a few times in Phoenix. i can attest that it's a lot of fun. On years we don't travel (like this January) we have a party to watch the Saturday night show. Generally, the charity auctions are perhaps a little emotional, but definitely not market correct. It's a show and the cars they pick have some real value, but no where near the winning bid. Enjoy the auction, but don't read not the "value" placed on the 1st Mustang.
