Just because it's well designed doesn't mean it actually gets manufactured to spec I think we have enough history with this gearbox already to know it's not holding up or shifting like the Tremec. (I own Mustangs with both) I've seen a significant amount of production pulled from China in my industry due to the failure of many plants to produce at a consistent quality level.

What I am a little confused about is I thought when people switch clutches must or all of their issues go away. So if that is the case then I wouldn't think the gear box is actually to blame.

That is a good point.
Still I hear (read) about track use gearbox failures.
Maybe nor street use...
