2019 GT350 and GT350R Track Alignment settings

Now that Ford is offering a set of camber plates for the GT350 and R, the alignment settings in the 2019 GT350 Owner's Supplement (see link below) are slightly different:

GT350
Front
Camber -2.00°
Caster 6.81°
Toe - Total 0.10° toe in

Rear
Camber -2.20°
Toe - Total 0.30° toe in

GT350R
Front
Camber -2.20°
Caster 6.92°
Toe - Total 0.10° toe in

Rear
Camber -1.60°
Toe - Total 0.30° toe in

Track Tire Pressures:

Cold Tire Pressures GT350 and GT350R
Front: 28 psi (1.93 bar)

Rear: ​

28 psi (1.93 bar)

Hot Tire Pressures GT350 and GT350R
Front: 38 psi (2.62 bar)
Rear: 36 psi (2.48 bar)

In terms of suspension changes, the GT350R hasn't changed - springs and bars are the same as previous model years. The GT350 front springs are stiffer than before and the rear is softer, and of course it has MPSC2's now.

Heh, here’s where my shop put me after discussion. I felt like the front could’ve used a bit more camber from the tire wear. I’ll probably have him just take it as far is it will go without grinding next time.

Just had my R alignment done using these settings. I set camber in front at 2.5 as I have run this with good success on my 2016 GT. I have BMR SP083 springs and Vorshlag camber plates. No problem getting the setting front and rear. Car drives much better as the existing alignment was pretty far off. Will be interesting to see how it does on the track next weekend at Barber.

In looking back at the 350 vs 350R settings, why do you think the non R needs so much more rear camber?

I'm just guessing here but it could be due to the different type of tires and the size.

The rear wheels on the 350R are 1/2" wider than the 350. Also, they use different tires. These could be contributing factors.
