I biznitch about my Boss 302 with me in it at 3820 lbs. I agree lighter is better but I see the gt500 as a 1/4 mile/ half mile straight line car, not a road course car. 400 lbs= .4 slower ET. Add another couple hundred hp and its a wash. Pulley swap FTW.

It is just a leak so actual production weight may be different
