Sorry to hear of your issues and hopefully the Ford Shop you take it too has a good tech who can go through an extensive check for you. With the new cars the intricate computer system to check your car is quite advanced compared to the systems of just a few years back,. Hopefully you can get someone to figure out the causes.

These cars will starve for fuel on high G corners, even at 1/2 tank, with stock fuel system. Misfires from starving for fuel can do a lot of detonation damage to the engine. I make sure my tank is full before every session.
Thanks for the advice. I though I was safe at half a tank. My on-board accelerometer showed I hit peak cornering Gs of 1.06 on the stock Michelin PS4 S. I'll definitely keep that in mind. I put 10 gallons of track 93 octane in at CMP at $6.49 / gal to keep the tank around half full over the course of the last track day.

Cheap gas. Right now 93 works out to over 10 bucks a gallon up here. This in spite of the fact that this country is sitting on oceans of oil.

That's what happens when you hire a haircut for a prime minister and have a gang of socialists keeping him in power.

Keep that tank full, you'll save an engine.

Good advice from JDee as I actually lost 3 ( W2W ) races due to gas starvation with 4-5 gallons in my Boss 302S tank , before got ticked off enough to get a fuel cell installed. With your car just do as JDee suggests, start each session full.

With around 5 gallons of gas, car would start starving on big sweepers, still in the lead but another time around the sweeper/ sweepers another big suck for fuel and then bingo --- off she went into " Limp mode." Trust me, a full tank means more fun at the track!

Cheap $10 a gallon gas? It will take some time for that to sink in. Location, location, location.
When I went to Boss Track Attack back in 2012. Ford paid folks to “Refuel” the cars 3-4 times a day. You went into the classroom and someone would take the car and refuel it. Same basic fuel system.
