No argument at all, yet the big swing to me was that the focus on the GT 500 was more towards a track machine more than a drag strip beast as in the past. It definitely is a killer grand tourer with solid track capabilities. I think the focus on using some of the things they learned on the GT 500 were transferred to the GT 350 shows it should be around for awhile also.

6 speed and lighter weight, gotta believe the GT350/350R has more build years in its DNA!

Be interested to see what it is in real life , as most weights shown by Dodge and Ford are realistic , whereas GM normally shows dry weight ( no fluids at all in the vehicle ) , hence a more acceptable figure to many.

It’s definitely heavy and Colin Chapman was on the mark when he built lighter cars. But as we saw at MPH the GT500 is fast on track and it appears Ford put proper coolers in it which will allow it to run 30 sessions without overheating. The GT350 will still be the track enthusiast choice but the GT500 is going to deliver on track as well.

BTW the new C8 Corvette is over 3,600 lbs and all cars continue to get heavier even Porsche’s.

The car looks fantastic TMS. She must look awesome next to the KB Boss. Looking forward to seeing them both (Hopefully) at a track near me in 2020.

BTW - Lifted Spirit still a big hit here in the Rockies!
