WeatherTech ran their Ferrari and there were no Corvettes there at all --- just check the 2020 Lemans Entry List and it will clarify. I was hoping Corvette would run , but they pulled out with advance notice. Was kind of fun to see the Aston Martins do so well as it portends a better balance among the makes than had been apparent over the past couple of years.

Team Corvette announced back in May 2020 that they would not run.

But Why did FIA.com Post WeatherTech’s Chevrolet #63 as racing 185 laps of the 2020 Le Mans 24?

I’m just pointing out what FIAWEC.com has posted.

So if you want to download on someone, . . . Perhaps you can write FIA a strongly worded letter for posting misleading information on their website. But don’t kill the messenger Obi-Wan.

Aww, 302 Hi-Pro , not downloading on my bud down in the Southeast , just trying to help with the confusion. Gotta agree the cum-pooter specialists for the FIA are not using spellcheck or reviewing their sheets ! Ferrari does not really resemble Corvette in print or in person so they need to get their sheets/schitts up the right creek! You da man and sorry if my note sounded Bossy, just figured you might be as confused as I get occasionally --- getting close to 69 so I have a legitimate excuse.

Hang in there my Boss Bud all is good here!

Thanks for the note Bill.

Plus don’t forget that Obi-Wan is still the most respected Star Wars character of all time. At least in my book.

They sure confused me with the #63 car.

All the best.

I enjoy the commentators more when broadcast on the US Channels
Some were better than others this year, and some pf it might just be familiarity with the US announcers. I think COVID restrictions played into it as well - nowhere near as much access of the pit reporters to garages for one. And with no spectators, or midway, nothing like Calvin Fish's midnight walkabout (with drunken fan interviews) could happen. One or two of the Euro team had some good background stories, but nothing like Hobbo's tales. Though with Hobbs essentially retired, I'm not sure we would have seen him this year. MotorTrend did have coverage during the whole race, instead of bailing for a NACAR practice session or overnight infomercial like Fox Sports did.

My biggest gripe was actually the class standings graphic. I can't remember which of 59 cars is which number. Put the car make or driver with the position, please. Preferably, alternate between the two, as most cars had 3 drivers and it's nice to know who's at the wheel. I probably should have printed out one of the semi-official spotter guides that Andy Blackmore does. And gotten my own Marker of Doom.

The little speaker they used during pit lane interviews to let the interviewee the reporter's questions was amusing. It looked like a soup can painted black. Kept looking for the string connecting it to the can on the other end.
