302S 2013 Grill

Just rec'd 302S grill for 2013
Not much different than the stock unit. Grill has the same pattern as the stock unit. There is a wire mesh installed in the area that would normally be opened once the covers were removed.
The top row of the grill pattern is open. Over all it appears as though the differences are more cosmetic than functional. For what it's worth just my opinion.

Can you please post photos of both grilles when you have a chance.

I think it's pretty functional if you intend to race the car a great deal and don't want to worry about taking covers off, losing them, or track debris flying into your radiator. The upper area now open is a help too. I've seen small changes like this reap big dividends at the track so I would caution about discounting them so quickly.

IMHO!

I installed the 302S 2012 grille and eliminated my overheating problem at the track. The temp probably dropped by 20 degrees. Thus I have been pleased with the difference this made. Prior to this mod, I was going without any grille on the track.
