This '94 is our 2nd track car project, after 444, so we just started calling it 445 (4FOR5)
She is a good platform to work off of. Nicely stiffened, all solid mounts. Built by the Motorsports Technology Dept at Northeast. But that was quite a few years back.
There is a lot to update this winter to be ready for TT competition with NASA in the spring. After getting some proper guidance form blacksheep-1 & TMSBOSS (my TMO mentors lol) My first order of business is getting the suspension set up for road course driving. Looking at the pictures you will be able to see that the previous owner was really limited in the class and region he was racing in. Solid UCA & LCA, tiny sway bar, and what I suspect is a homemade axle brace made to keep the axle tubes from slipping.

Tracy is one of the best kind of Mentors out there, because he is surprisingly humble, willing to learn and always willing to help others. You made a wise choice with those two gentleman and I am sure BS-1 will get you on a set of Hoosier for next year to put all that power to the ground.

Love the paint scheme, with all the impressive mods it definitely deserves the nickname, " Skunkwerkz!"

pretty odd differential girdle. I think I'd just check the unit for straightness and weld the tubes. I assume there's interference between the sway bar and the cover, it definately is close there on sn95s. If you want to keep those lowers, you can weld up the holes and drill them farther back. You may have the wrong lowers for that car, they were pretty interchangeable, but that was one of the differences. I would def keep a rear bar on these cars.

Thanks, That is what I was thinking, weld the tubes. I didn’t think about checking straightness first though. I was thinking about a 35mm bar. That stock one looks pretty slim?

take those quad shocks off immediately. those things are a waste on there with all the other upgrades, looks like theyre touching the coils too

Right on about the Quads. YES, they are touching the coils. They look like a hokey band-aid.
If I'm following correctly, once the Torque Arm and Panhard Bar are on, I should have everything gone except the lower arms and a sway bar?
I got home from a NASA event at Memphis last night to find both the MM PHB and TA arrived early!

Jack Hidley at MM is really going above and beyond to help me plan this build. we knew that the rear lower control arms ( LRCA ) are some type of aftermarket knock off of MM so Jacks plan was to save a little by installing new inserts in them. But that plan quickly went down the tubes.. PIC 1) the rt. side where someone had welded in the Heim joint. That’s not grease it’s melted bushing PIC 2) the left side Is in better shape. You can see the C-clip. PIC 3) Jack was easily able to pinpoint what it is. (his knowledge on the SN95 is staggering)

The plot thickens! The axle is a ’99. That year Ford changed to a 14mm LCA mounting bolt. The chassis is a 1994 with 12mm bolt. The PS (previous owner) just threw the 12mm bolt back into the 14mm axle. In PIC 1 you can see where it was already wearing out. Look at the gap between the bolt and axle mount hole!
Not a problem though. Since we have coilovers anyway, and need to replace the LCA’s we’ll get lightweight track arms with the 12mm / 14mm combo.

weld the hole sup and redrill them.
I knew there was something funky about those lower trailing arms and their attachments.
Looks like you have your hands full fixing someon else's problems, but you'll be happy when it's done.
So how did it handle as is?
