The day has finally come. Driving the R from Sacramento, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. Excellent opportunity to test out the new Ford Performance lowering springs, Nikon D750 and get reacquainted with the Shelby.

I can tell you that the new Verus Engineering rear diffuser is netting me an additional 3 MPG after 300 miles of driving.

Made it into Vegas and way tired. Some quick observations.

Ford Performance lowering springs are great. Complaint ride and I didn’t feel like I was getting beat up as much as the OEM R springs. Less bounce in the car. Recaro’s got a little uncomfortable after hour 6 though

Carters Customs hood vent does a good job reducing under hood lift and flutter at speed.

Steeda IRS subframe braces keep the car feeling steady on long sweepers as well.

Best discovery is that the GT350R wing doubles as an excellent taco stand, although the angle of attack is a little steep.
