70 Trans Am championship

Watching the CanAm cars run up the main straight hill at Road America are my earliest memories of auto racing. The sounds were unforgettable

There were plenty of Fords in the early days of Can Am , but were mostly out by 1969. I always loved the Chapparal 2E with the flipper wing. Unfortunately, Porache does what Porsche does and thoroughly destroyed the series with the 917/10 and 917/12s

Some of that was at Mosport, I was there. Fantastic weekend got within feet of Donohue in the pre-race scrum in the pits, close enough to give him the thumbs up.

Cool little Genie Comet at 2018 Mid-America Shelby meet at Hallet. Of course there were plenty of other vintage Mustangs representing CVAR.

Man those were fun times at Mosport back in the day.....still gives me goosebumps when I hear that thunder !!

Lime Rock has great events. Love driving it too. Fast and non stop work as a driver.
