Hi All,

I have had a Garmin Catalyst for a couple of years now, but I used my friends AIM Solo (I think older generation) at Thunderhill last week. I loved the information you get from the OBD2 port. One issue we ran into was that my car (2020 GT500 CFTP) wasn't selectable with the AIM software, so we selected a 2016 S550 generic car and it seemed like the info from the OBD2 port wasn't quite right. Is this car fully supported by AIM? Anyone have experience with it or any feedback?

Thanks!
Jeff

@Black Boss had a GT500 CFTP that would not allow CAN bus communication through the OBD2 port with AiM devices. He made his own jumper harness to bypass the block put in by Ford. Hopefully he can respond and help you with the issue.

Thanks for the replies. I messed with it today, and I had emailed AIM. Only the generic OBD2 file worked, but VERY limited data :-(. I think this means it’s not electrically blocked like stated above, just no file to map all the signals. I emailed them again.

I tried all the Ford options, even Fiesta :)
