Interesting.
I just saw your review of the BFG Rivals and watched your video. You can certainly get on the beans early without that rear bar--it's evident in your videos alone.
Maybe I shall try this afterall!!!

Do you run brake ducts up front, and if so how is the clearance?

I didn't have any rubbing issues with the factory wheels with either the 9 or 9.5 inch wheels.

FWIW the GS teams run "square" setups with the occasional, rare exception of wheel widths

I've run square for a number of track events, 305's and 275s on 18 by 10s. I have an adj front sway set to medium, and it seems neutral. I fine tune with the Koni yellows. I have noticed an instance of high speed oversteer, but that is probably more a function of a lack of rear downforce. That giant G stream wing would cure that. I'm talking 120 plus speeds. Otherwise, it generally under steers.
