Barton Hybrid 3

Installed a Barton hybrid 3 and it is transferring a lot a noise. Anybody having the same problem and do you have an idea for a fix?

Maybe wrap the stick with something like hot water pipe insulation?





MGW shifter with a DIY-fabbed extension. Quite a lot noisier than OE, so I used whatever I had on hand (pipe insulation and some grey duct tape) as a quick-and-dirty test. But the noise was reduced so much I just left it in place.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ve read last night that someone used sound deadening material anybody else tried this?

Norm, why did you put on the extension? Just curious.
