I never get tired of driving it!
I like throwing in a CD or hooking up the iPod and enjoy some tunes that are fun to drive fast to or reinforce my enjoyment of driving. Here are some of mine (I'm 51). What are some of yours? I could use a few new good ones!!

Title Band
Highway Star Deep Purple
Radar Love Golden Earring
I'm in love with my car Queen
Keep the Car Running Arcade Fire (heard it on a youtube video someone posted here)
Born to Be Wild Steppenwolf
Magic Carpet Ride Steppenwolf
Rock N' Roll Led Zepplin
The Boys are Back in Town Thin Lizzy
I Can't Drive 55 Sammy Hagar
Low Rider War

Post them up!

Although I like 70' s rock I like to listen to The Blues, for instance, in the car. It allows me to relax so I don't get too aggressive in my driving. It works, I keep my cool and many stupid things that happen on the roads and highways don't bother me.

I listen to the side pipes.

;D

Mostly 70s rock, I convert it to MP3 then put it on a CD so I can fit hundreds of songs. I also have some choice specific songs like Busta Move and Carmina Burana. I'm 33

I'm trying to find a mp4 track that has nothing but recordings of the Boss idleing. I want to listen to this at 130 decibels in my wife's car everyday until I take delivery of my baby. I'll also use it in my Boss when it arrives so I can enjoy the Boss twice as much. :)

In no particular order:

Back in the Saddle - Aerosmith
Spirit of Radio, YYZ - Rush
Custard Pie - Led Zepplin
Roundabout - Yes
He Man Woman Hater - Extreme
Drp Dead Legs - Van Halen

See any common thread here ? ;D

For me it depends where I am driving, ie; freeway, local roads etc. but for the road in general I like:

Red Carchetta (sp?)--- Rush
Tainted Love -- Manson
Don't Look Back
Third Stage -- Boston
Heavy Metal (Takin A Ride) -- Don Felder

The list goes on....

Save the dawn for your dishes!!!
I am more of an 80's metal guy. megadeth is a good one to get me going. but lately I have been enjoying Five Finger Death Punch on the ride to work.

I am truly surprised no one mentioned any songs from who else but the Boss!

That would have to be old Boss. New Boss is a bit too Occupy Wall St. for my taste.

He always kind of was, if you believe what he says his old songs were about.

How about

Boston's Foreplay/Long Time
Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll
Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody
Ozzie Osbourne's Crazy Train
Chris Connell's/Soundgarten's Black Hole Sun
Jimmi hendrix's All Along the Watchtower and Cross Town Traffic.

To name a few old school songs.

Nice choices

I could add Led Zepplin's Trampled Under Foot for the people I pass. :)
