Glad your car was only injured and not dead!! gave me a fright when I saw the headline. Always important to have significant other who is supportive of our crazy hobbies. Probably we are easier to deal with if we are relaxed and short of cash or at least a little guilty for all the $$ we spend on our cars.

Mine is well aware of this. Supportive as long as I keep her in the loop.

I have so many friends whose wive's complain all the time about their racing that I feel pretty blessed . Got her a killer purse and very cute top while on vacation and she was super pleased and I fully understand the amounts I spend make these gifts pale in comparison to entry fees, race fuel, consumables, food, motels, etc. for just one weekend. Car ran solid, took me a day to get back in rhythm, but it was worth it , and with the fuel cell I did not starve in any of the big sweeping corners!!!
