It’s their car. Not sure it qualifies as either for me.

GM trans behind a Toyota motor in a Mustang is an Interesting combo.

Imagine what a small block Ford built for 30 lbs of boost would do.

Honestly I get more upset when they LS swap the Skylines and 240's, I think those cars should have the RB's and turbo 6's

The mind is a terrible thing to waste. Perhaps this idea was born out of boredom. I just don't get it but I'm more of a traditionalist. Still trying to figure out why they shove Chevy blocks in a hot rod Ford.

The oil pan and cost. Rear sumps on Chevy engines made swaps easier. Chevies are also cheaper. I believe there were/are over 30 million small block chevys out there.

The power of supply and demand and the path of least resistance make some decisions easier but not always right.....Final cost will also be another consideration in any project.

The days of loyalty to a certain brand of anything seem to be gone. Greed/Money/Profit(at ANY cost) are the incentives now...............Long ago , Wealth insured you of a good life...now it insures you of a life with no values.

I love the title of the article :)

Doesn't bother me but doesn't excite me either.

It was Fords car in 1968. Since then the owner(s) can do what they want.
Would I want that combo? Nope. I have a strong attraction to the sound of an American V-8.
    Ham and Eggs
    Gin and Tonic
    Muscle car and V-8 rumble.
They all just seem to go together.

To answer Grant, how could he do it? Don’t know. Mother likely abandoned him at a tender age. What else could it be?

But this Ford and Toyota marriage seems more like Green Eggs and Ham.

Brings to mind another old adage..."When it comes to contributions, all things are relative. The hen provides the eggs but the Pig supplies the ham"....;)

    Interested or committed.

The chicken is interested, the pig is committed.
