Yup! I have secured a deal to upgrade the hose in the Blowfish Racing Brake Cooling Kit to the high temp stuff used by Ford Racing and NASCAR. This the Thermoid SilFlex rated at 550 degrees. THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE IN PRICE AND YOU GET THE BEST HOSE ON THE MARKET! BOOM!

I will be receiving my order mid-next week and will be kitting up immediately to fulfill orders. Those who have ordered and have not received theirs yet, this is the reason why. I will be updating the photos on the site and ebay once i have the hose and am able to take new photos, but rest assured, every order placed after 2/1/2014 will receive Thermoid hose in their kit.

I will also be adding the ability to buy replacement hose cut to length at a very reasonable cost.

To be clear, there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the hose i supplied before. I tested this hose and it held up perfectly well (been cooking away on my car for over 2 years now!), but there was always a stigma about any hose that didn't match the FRPP benchmark. So, i started talking to Thermoid directly to try to give the customers what they want and we struck up a deal that made it possible to keep costs down and be able to offer the benchmark hose everyone wants. Its not a lateral move, but i am absorbing all of the additional costs so you don't have to.

Just one more way Blowfish Racing is gearing up to exceed your expectations for 2014!

The weather slowed the shipment of hose, but it all came in yesterday and has been cut, packaged and all existing orders fulfilled. Ready to ship out more!

And, of course, we still offer the Backing Plates for the DIY enthusiast

And we will now offer replacement hose, pre-cut and with finished ends (wire has been removed from the last 3" of the hose for fitment over any 3" kit)

Those duct plates look to fit the rotor way better than the ones I'm using now from another company, and the "generic" hose I have is wearing out a bit.

Looks like I will be ordering a full kit; nice work, and great price!

got my tracking info. thanks steve! sadly now my delay is that the bumper inserts I ordered showed up and were for a 12 not 13 so I'm waiting on a new order to show up with the proper inserts so I can send them back the incorrect ones.

Not the first few mods I am going to make, but is certainly on my list! even if I don't track the car..just too col not to have. lol

Very strange? Site works, but the links do not? I will get it worked out. In the meantime, just click on the Blowfish Racing ad and it will take you to the site.

Ah, I think I see it. The links you posted are https. You must have been logged in when you copied the links! I can get to the site through a google search just fine.

So, all I need to complete this kit is to cut the fog inserts, correct?

Yeah, the 13-14 bezels are needed. I am working on being able to supply all of this in a kit....hopefully in a couple months it will be ready to go.

To be honest I was thinking of buying some replacement '12 LS fog light inserts. I am on the fence about cutting the stock inserts. From what I saw it would run around $100 for the LS pair. But that is for the 2012.

If I upgraded to the GT500 brakes/ rotors will this still fit? And out of curiosity, what hose was offered before?

assuming you are referring to the 15" gt500 brakes, i am curious myself. if the hat has a bigger diameter, it wouldn't seal off as well as it should and if the caliper mounting bracket is much different in shape, the duct plate may need to be trimmed. anyone with 15" gt500 brakes want to try them out?

the hose used before was the basic 350 degree hose purchased from a distributor. I have had this hose on for 3 seasons and never had to replace it and don't see any need to any time soon. But, the customers want the benchmark hose, so i worked out a deal direct with Thermoid to be able to get the hose people want without breaking the bank.

yes, I was referring to the 15 inch rotors. Anyways, this looks like a heck of a deal. I will be ordering a set in the very near future! Thanks.
