Hey guys, I have noticed that the engine starts up with some bluish smoke nowadays. I leave the car oitside because of garage work and there is a lot of rain with temps between 5 and 15 degs celcius throughout the day. Car has LTs and no cats. Any opinions? After the initial start, it returns to faint clear smoke. Any ideas?

Yeah I have a JLT oil catch can. The car has been sitting on the driveway on a decline so maybe all the oil is collecting in the intake and being burned off differently due to the angle?

I have 26000 kms on the car. Valve guides? That doesn't sound good does it... :( I gotta check the catch can.

Catch can was a third full, still getting blue smoke on start up. I have never used the car during sub 10C weather with the upgraded exhaust (O/R X and LTs) so it might have been that the cats were absorbing the oil? Im thinking of getting a drivers side oil catch can as well, JLT supposedly has a new design that catches more oil. Also saw that my coolant was below the fill range , I dont know if this is cause for concern since I have never touched the coolant since I bought the car, how fast does the stuff leave evaporate during normal operation?
