BMR driveshaft loop for aluminum shaft shimming

I am having my aluminum driveshaft and Bmr driveshaft loop installed and read on their site some one piece driveshafts may need shimming? Anyone done this yet? Do I need any shimming on a stock setup boss?

I have the BMR reinforcing plate with driveshaft loop and a 3.5" Driveshaft Shop aluminum shaft. The clearance is 1/2" at ride height and just touches at full droop with the rear tires off the ground, 3 track days and no signs of rubbing. If you have a 4" shaft it will need to be shimmed down.

Thank you I am thinking of 1/4" spacers just to be safe. I have my dealer installing it and really wat to be sure 100%
