I’d like to know if anyone has come up with a real fix for high rpm shifts in the Boss. If I try to shift at 7300 rpm or higher I experience very difficult shifts or complete lockout on either up shifts or downshifts. I’ve read conflicting reports on various clutches and none seem to be the “answer”. I track the car about 3 or 4 times a year almost exclusively at Willow Springs. The majority of my driving is around town so I wouldn’t be happy with a clutch that didn’t have good street manners. Anyone have a suggestion?
I should add that I have a Barton shifter and a Blowfish transmission bracket and a Steeda transmission mount insert. I also installed a Shelby clutch fluid reservoir.
