I ran my SBY almost stock for a couple of years and a Boss can be competitive that way. Grab a set of wider wheels, get some sticky tires, camber plates, better brake pads with a quality DOT 4 fluid like Motul 600, and go autocross or do a little track time. Engine mods, suspension mods, and more are not necessary, just do a few basics and she is competitive out or the box.
