Just a little information.

I was at the AAI plant tour last Thursday (8/18) and saw around 14 bosses being made. Didn't see a Yellow Blaze Mustang anywhere in the plant.

There were 3 LS being made with 2 being black and 1 silver. The silver already had the motor installed so I asked the installer what the number was, it was #501. That is much higher than I was expecting.

They are making about 5 LS'es a day, I have 533 in my list so far (I have LS numbers for 98 of them). Unusually, there were 2 silvers being made that day, so I won't know which one is 501. :-(
Currently black is running about 4:1 over silver, there aren't yet 100 silver LS'es. There is one silver prototype that appears to have released, along with a CO/Black Canadian model.

I didn't realize the engines already had the serial number plate attached. I thought that happened when the stripes and final touches were applied to the cars?

Well I am from Sturgis South Dakota my LS just showed up its #473 will list other info later think I am the only South Dakota person with a LS but not real sure

OK, I'll admit that I am Fred Flintstone in using a Snip to add my info about my LS. Is there a easy way for us Fred's to do this for you? ??? I was able to copy the snip, but I could not add my info.
