Will this battery work as a replacement in our cars? I saw on another forum someone was using this in their GT. Thanks

If it does, don't forget the new battery hold down kit with the right sized top bracket. Is this a battery that you can also mount horizontally? Looks like a nice weight savings.

Good luck,

PS: I purchased a new 8 drawer side box for my tool box, I needed the additional deep drawers to store my special tools in Pelican boxes! Was looking at that again this morning, it's so nice. Thanks again,
Dave

I emailed Braille and they got back to me pretty quick with some more questions on what my particular application would be. I am looking to lose some weight up front but I also want a dependable battery. I also found a kit from Braille to tie the battery since it is so much smaller.

Thanks for the response Dave. After I ordered that Pelican case for you I ordered another one for myself because I liked it so much.

I am using the Braille B129, slightly less amps and weight and it works great. I am on year two with it and no issues. Guessing the one you are looking at will also work. The only negative is that the reserve amps are low and thus I place it a charger if not using the car for a couple of days. Not a big deal for me as the car is basically just for track use.

What did you use to mount it in the battery tray?

Curious if the braille battery and a circulation pump for trans fluid would fit in the same space as the stock battery?

Anyone with the Braille battery feel there is room for a small pump as well as the battery?

I used the first option with the J hooks and drilled holes into the existing battery box for the j hooks to attach to. Has worked well and has passed tech inspections.
