It looks like the Caddy pad but Van at Revan said its not. I will trace my pads and measure as many details as possible. I don't think Ford would have created a proprietary pad for this caliper but who knows and it doesn't seem like anyone is talking. I have posted this question on 4 real enthusiast sites that I know Ford and racing people frequent and haven't gotten any good info. I bet next year these parts will be part of a track pack for GTs, production costs have to be amortized somehow. Road Runner will appear in another model too.

That Caddy pad is part of a family of pads for Brembo 6 piston 'street' calipers.

GTR, CTS-V, some AMG's, as well as some Brembo Sport (street) BBK's. They vary by radial depth and thickness but the top portion always looks pretty much the same and they are 189/190 mm wide.

Once you have them it should be pretty easy to find one that is interchangeable and/or get the dimensions over to those that need to know.

Thanks for the info Nick! I'm sure between you and Steve everything will be figured out here pretty quickly. Let's just hope that it uses a widely available pad shape.

The pads are marked FER 4446-2FF so I assume Ferodo and 4446 is the pad shape, hopefully there is a cross reference.
The pads are 165 mm wide, 80 mm tall at the high point over the pin holes and 65mm at the center scallop. Pin holes are 140mm center to center.I put the 14" Brembo rotor next to the 15" Ford (no marking on the rotor other than 29mm min thickness and FoMoCo/Part #). 15" rotor is 30mm thick and has a 73mm wide machined rotor surface, 14" Brembo rotor is 31mm thick and has a 64.5mm wide machined rotor surface. As you can see in the pics the calipers are black powder coat and are works of art. The port for the brake line is up on the back of the caliper so I don't know if our standard stock or stainless hoses fit, I bought the correct GT500 hoses just in case but hope my Goodridge hoses work. The clip kits come with the pins and bridge bolt which also came pre mounted on the calipers so I have a set of spares. Hopefully Nick and Pete can do some cross checking to seee if Hawk, Pagid or Carbotech have matching pads. I intend on trial fitting after I get back from Daytona in 2 weeks and running thes big boys at Road America and VIR this season. Gonna run 14" brakes at Lime Rock in March and then run the 15" setup later this summer to data log some comparisons. Hope this is helpful to all and I am pleased already with my $1200 investment. Tousley Ford also gets a shout for the speed of service and excellent pricing for Ford/Ford Racing parts.

Steve, I'm out of the loop on this thread. A pad for what caliper are you looking for? Is it the 302S caliper ? Do ypu have the PFC pad model number that is the original pad (if it is even PFC?) ? I may have something that matches...

The calipers from the 2013 GT 500, 6 piston Brembos. I can't find a pad shape or an advertised race pad replacement anywhere yet. If you haven't seen it I posted the shape with dimensions in my earlier post.

Rick
Here is the definite upgrade, side by side comparo of the pads, much more surface area to distrubute brake force and dissipate the heat generated.Brakepads001_zps793ae391.jpg Has to be an improvement in durability if not specific 1 stop 70-0 or 130-60 performance (I will try and check) but consistency over a full session should be improved. Stock pad surface is 60x128mm=76.80 sq/cm, GT 500 surface area is 65x158=102.70 sq/cm. it is a 33% increase in pad area.

As far as the hoses, I matched the stock Boss hose against the stock GT 500 hose and they are different, the length is the same but the bend at the banjo fitting is about 45 degrees different, I forget how the goodridge banjo end is but it probably is the same so I will have to run the OEM hoses untill I can get a Goodridge specific line.

Hopefully you can get race compound pads for that caliper. In my opinion, the extra surface area is nice, but without high temp/friction race pads, it may not be as good. Look forward to this seasons test data!

Steve - I will get back to you today. I believe I can get Pagid's for those calipers but I need to confirm with their engineering support.

The RBF600 isn't the issue. I need to quick bleed my car after each track day, sometimes after only 2 sessions. There is a trick I learned from Ford engineering. When the brakes start to fell a little soft (after 2 runs usually) take the car out to the paddock or in the street and from 60 MPH nail the brakes and invoke the ABS. Two or three times should do it. Any air that can get trapped in the caliper in the ABS 'ports' (not sure what they are really called) will be pushed forward.

This sounds like snake oil but it does work. Both Ron (Roketman) and I were doing it at The Glen this past year after we got the info.

What about this technique? ???

I guess it's better than not bleeding but I use Speed Bleeders so I can do a true bleed with one person.

Please keep in mind that the invocation of the ABS is NOT meant to replace bleeding your brakes. It does not remove air from the lines it just forces it up the lines so it has much less of an effect on the brake pedal feel. Eventually your brakes will go soft and you will still need to do a true bleed. If you're caught between runs and don't have time to truly bleed the brakes this has always worked for me. I've been able to keep the brakes solid until the end of the day using this method.

Nothing in the 2013 Ferodo or Hawk catalog's I can see.

Ferodo pads start w/ FCP or FRP - latest number I have is 4430.

Carbotech can reline your pads.

Porterfield can cut it from another pad (assuming there is one big enough to start with)

"FF" is the friction code
