I was giving my car a once over and noticed I cooked the seals up front and would like to use this chance to change the seals and boots. I can't say I've ever tried this myself. I consider myself very mechanically inclined but would like to go into this with some knowledge.

Any tips or advice? Can I do this on the car so I don't have to break the seal on the system?

    From S197forums:

Just got this info sheet from Zeckhausen Racing.

    http://www.zeckhausen.com/Brembo/Consumables.htm

You can use this to order dust boots and pressure seals for your GT500 Brembo kits when it's time to overhaul.

Centric actually makes a rebuild kit for the front Brembo calipers, I'm sure you can get them from the dealership but usually the dealership is twice as much.

Here is a listing of them:

Replacing them is fairly straight forward, just gotta be careful not to scratch anything. I have a couple videos on how to do it.

Would you mind posting or sending me those videos? A friend and I will be rebuilding our calipers this weekend. Thanks.

Not done on a Boss, but it gives you a general idea on what you're doing. This was done on a Corvette caliper.

Since the boss is a fixed caliper and there are pistons on both sides, do the side that is farthest away from the banjo hole first.

    Removal of Pistons:

    Installation of Pistons:

Hope it helps a little bit.

I had to do this for the right front caliper before I used titanium shims.

Never had any experience doing this before and it turned out fine. Pretty easy job.
