Bumper mounted temp sensor.

I munged my front bumper mounted temp sensor a while back on a off-road adventure. Does this in any way go to the pcm for fuel control? I was pretty sure there is another one in the CAI.

No. For some reason I thought the PCM had it as a signal, but its connected to the HVAC module:

Thats the outside temp sensor, it's used for auto climate if you have it and also the readout for exterior temp. I don't think it's anything important. I don't think it will cause a check engine light only a DTC in the HVAC module.

Mine has been destroyed for about a year now and only issue I've seen is it just reads 50 degrees on my display at all times.
