Sometymes victory comes in the heart, not at the finish line. I applaud your efforts more than your results. As Drlee50 said, there will ALWAYS someone with a better car, but if you measure success in effort, you're a winner in my eyes. Keep on keeping on Mad Hatter.

I would go with the Cobra Jet over the Cams, will have more gains

I went with the LM cams mainly because was putting in a Cobrajet oil pump... Now that its installed, next engine item will be the Cobrajet manifold setup , It never ends!!

This is a constant problem, the SCCA does the same thing, T1 and T2 are supposed to be limited prep classes, then they basically let in full on Porsche race cars. It's BS, but unless the organizers get their act together, it will become a Por$che only class very soon. Then they'll complain because of lack of entries.
