Catch can questions

Is there a reason people seem to only put a can on the passenger side head? Does the driver's side one not spit oil?

Also, has anyone seen a reduction in knock with catch cans? My understanding is that enough oil getting pushed into the intake can effectively reduce octane, but is there enough going in to have an actual affect?

I'm trying to decide on a catch setup is why I am asking.

Drivers side gets very little. See remarks on the JLT site. I doubt the catch cans reduce knock, there's not that much oil getting into them.

I have JLT installed on both sides to be on the save side, but the drivers side never had any oil in it (7'000 miles). I do not think that it will reduce knock, but I am not a specialist.

If I did it over again I'd do that also. I do get some in the drivers side canister but its only a few drops per track event.

I have about 500 miles with both JLT cans in place. I have about 1/4 of the passenger side can full and not a single drop in the driver's side. 2200 miles on the car, no track days yet.
