Center Console Latch

Hey all,

Not really a performance question and pertains to any mustang from 2012 I suppose. What's the deal with our center consoles? The actual silver button you push to open seems to stick on mine/isn't very sturdy. Sometimes it's fine but I swear the thing is clunky and won't stand the test of time/daily use.

Other experiences or suggestions to help with this issue?

Step 1: remove the center console.

Step 2: remove the rest of the interior.

Step 3: install 8 pt roll cage

Honestly haven't had any problems with mine, and no I have not followed the cosm3os procedure . May try the dealer and see if they can warranty fix it?

Try using your right elbow : Seems to me that Ford designed it to open that way.

Haha, I love the roll cage reply and wish it was a viable option but this bad boy is my DD!
