Yep. The mounts for the fan were different but it had the tank at the bottom. They said it was a three core with the passage tubes being smaller.

That's not bad. With my stock setup and CJ grille i'm regularly in the 215-220 in similar weather conditions around sea level. There's also some elevation at Chuckwalla. The academy cars run custom coolers with a fan that has brackets welded onto the radiator frame. It's an open bracket with no shroud. I meant to take a photo but obviously forgot. Not sure how good that would be on a street car but I'm confident it will work well on a mostly track driven car.

I'm waiting for Gary to report back but if the new 302S fan/shroud drops temps 5+ degrees I'm ordering one.
I got it installed today.........took way too long but I wrote it up in this thread:

Hooked my splitter coming off the trailer last Monday so I pulled the front apparent AGAIN.

I think you are looking for part #3 in this diagram, in which case you will be OK on price (this is for the 2012 car): http://www.tousleyfordparts.com/parts/2012/FORD/MUSTANG/BOSS%20302/?siteid=214771&vehicleid=1501235&diagram=JC10037

Thanks! That looks to be the correct part, but the number differs (maybe a 2013 boss302 LS issue). I got the parts on order from my local dealer $60 a peice, I know I found the part for different models cheaper on line but probably not the same given the 2013 front end differences.
Parts where 17d958-AC and 17d959-AC

All in all pretty cheap considering my car looked like this for a moment coming off the trailer ;D

Here are a few photos from the photographer that was there. I should have bought one of each of us, but ended up with just Rick, Gary and I that were in the rentals. Rick is 13, Gary is 10 and I am 14. One of these shots is with me on Gary's tail. While I would like to say I had this view frequently over the two days, truth is he probably just passed me.
